History
LRM began in 1999 with a vision to support and network people wishing to minister outside their local church. Founder and minister Sherry Schram recognized that many churches and ministers were struggling to begin and organize their ministry, and that they were often isolated. In addition, she found that many churches lacked the resources that larger churches provided. LRM was created as a supporting structure to both churches and ministries involved in outreach through fine arts, teaching, evangelism, and missions.
The name of the ministry was derived from the belief that before Christ's return there will be a wave of evangelism and that His church will reign strongly in those last days, the "latter reign" of the church (Joel 2:23-29, Haggai 2:9).
Objectives
1. To develop a network of individual and organizations that will provide, use, market and fund LRM resources.
2. To train, mentor and deploy those interested in sharing their gifts through LRM
3. To provide ministry-related resources for those seeking LRM assistance.
4. To develop informational, marketing and educational materials to support LRM and its partners.
5. To develop, as a long-range goal, a Christian school and community center that operates through endowments and serves "at risk" areas where quality Christian education is often unaffordable.
